Kilian Jornet wins Zegama-Aizkorri Marathon 2024. Results of legendary mountain race

Kilian Jornet wins the Zegama Marathon faster than you can say in Basque, "Pour me another cider, I can't get up."

Kilian wins the race for the 11th time with a time of 3:38:07! It's hard to imagine what this fact means for the history of sports, as Zegama is literally a cult race among not only the global elite but also a dream for everyone who follows mountain races.

Obviously, the King has returned, although he never really left.

Kilian's teammate from Team NNormal, Moroccan Elhousine Elazzaoui, takes 2nd place with a time of 3:46:16, while Polish runner Bartlomiej Przedwojewski - Kilian's former teammate from Team Salomon - finishes in 3rd place with a time of 3:46:54.

The women had a fiery battle for the podium this year! Norwegian Silvia Nordskar from Team HOKA, who became famous not only for her results but also for the bloody photos from last year's Mont Blanc Marathon, achieves a brilliant victory with a time of 4:29:12.

"My goal today was simply to soak up this energy, atmosphere, and smile. Words are not enough; this is a truly special race," says Silvia.

For her young competitors, this was literally a home race - Malen Osa and Marta Martinez battled it out to the last meter in their own "backyard," in front of their parents and friends, finishing in 4:35:19 and 4:35:29 respectively.
